This is the second piece I'm making from this book.

I really loved this dress-tunic.The only problem was the size.It came up a little smaller than I would prefer it.Next time I willsew the size 11.The pattern
comes with short sleeves but I made it with long.This is the only modification I did.I used a very light weight poplin  fabric in light blue.Very suitable
for the Greek Hot Summer days....I always find it difficult to sew so light weight fabrics so I usually use linen for my summer clothing.Next time I will make this dress I will use Linen or medium Cotton.

the first attempt to make something from my favorite DAILY SEWING BOOK is this jacket(coverall).The I 01 pattern.I made it from a quite medium weight cotton fabric that is suitable for the cool nights of the Greek summer.I made the size 11 and it was good for me.I am 1,63m in height and 52 kilos.It was easy I guess to make for a beginner like me.I serged the facings but the instructions suggested other way to finish the edges but I like that casual look that the serged edges give!Plus I like to use my Brother serger all the time.
